Trinity Boys choir is one of the busiest and most successful boys’ choirs in the world. It has enjoyed a high professional profile, both at home and abroad for over fifty years. This evening the choir will bring a varied programme including both secular and sacred music, and the choir is proud to present, alongside standard works, both its own highly virtuosic arrangements of well-known British folksongs and challenging commissions. Many of the choir’s arrangements were composed by the choir’s former Director, David de Warrenne, and recent commissions include those from Tom Harrold, Russell Hepplewhite, Grayston Ives, Graham Lack and Richard Wilberforce.
The choir has performed throughout the world. In December 2015 it undertook a major tour of Japan and in 2016 the choir appeared in the China Shanghai International Arts Festival. In 2018 the choir undertook a major ten concert tour of China.
