We are delighted to introduce our Tutored Cheese & Wine Tasting.
Rev'd Lisa Fairman-Brown, cheese expert, will introduce to you and guide you through several fabulous cheeses, matched with the presented wines.
With over twenty years experience working for France's largest cheese producer, Lisa has been tutoring the UK's leading dairy buyers to recognise different cheese types, maturities and appreciate the influence of climate, geography and animal breed on each cheese. Come and enjoy one another's company, sample a variety of cheese and hear some of the unique stories around familiar names as you take part in this mini masterclass.
The evening will be accompanied by guitarist Andrew Scott. Andrew studied classical guitar with the internationally renowned guitarist Carlos Bonell and the amazing performer Michael Fields. He made a solo tour of the former USSR, where he wowed audiences and attracted fans with his expressive playing style, he appeared on TV and made his debut recording in 2003.
He travelled the world as Assistant Cruise Director/Guitarist with Seabourn Cruise Line where his friendly charismatic style was greatly appreciated. His lounge show, “Romance Of The Classical Guitar”, was much loved by guests. He is now cruising with Cunard.
Back on dry land, Andrew likes to collaborate with a huge variety of musicians. He has recorded a solo album of jazz standards and movie themes called Andrew Scott Plays Laurindo Almeida on Sleeveless Records. The album was launched at the Polish Jazz Café in 2019 and received a wonderful review in Classical Guitar Magazine.
Whether it’s a concert, a wine bar, wedding or the lounge of a cruise ship, Andrew just loves to play for his audience.
